2003 L'Aventure Syrah Estate - USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (9/26/2007)
WIML89?

Tasted September 26, 2007. Opened and served immediately. Crimson color in the glass, absolutely opaque and visually impenetrable. Nose of bacon, melted black licorice and a mix of jammy fruits. Flavors of cassis, black berries, jam, cough syrup and a hint of bitters on the finish. Medium acidity, firm tannins, full body. Drink now with an hour or more in the decanter or continue to hold. (89 pts.)
