A wonderful, just wonderful bottle of Syrah.ÂIf I had to pick 1 word to describe this bottle, it would be ‘tasty’ man tasty.ÂA well made bottle of wine with the fruit & tannins working together like twins.ÂSoft, sweet tannins, fruit is evident but not overpowering the other characteristics of the wine.ÂIt is a well made bottle of wine, everything works like a melody & in harmony.

 

I would actually hold this wine for another 1-3 @ least to develop even some more.ÂAnd, that is my approach with the remaining 2 bottles.

 

Rating: 92+/93, hold.ÂI would not hesitate a 93 now, but I would like to revisit in 2-3.ÂA great bottle of wine from the Peay team!

 

P.S.: The 02 release of this wine was also a 92+/93 for me (checking my notes from earlier this year).
