| 1965 Martin Ray Pinot Noir - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (6/18/2007)
Good high fill on the bottle; cork came out cleanly. Nose was quite restrained, showing off odors and nothing familiar; didn't clean up with time. Color was good, medium translucent red. Palate showed a medium body, mostly acid with very little fruit or complexity. "Drinkable" is the best I can say. (78 pts.)
