| Pale ruby, medium nose of black cherry, strawberry, musk, saddle leather and spice. Medium minus body, medium plus intensity and medium-to-medium plus acidity with medium wood tannin. Black cherry, raspberry and saddle leather mix and mingle on the palate. Balanced. 90pts. | | |

| My first impression was of disappointment, it was thin and pale. Strong berry flavors, light body and short finish. After my first taste, I left the house with almost a full glass on the counter. Fortunately, the glass was still were I left it. After 3 hours in the glass, it opened up enough to grab my attention. I would like to give this wine another year or 2 in the bottle. 88 pts.
