Pale ruby, medium nose of black cherry, strawberry, musk, saddle leather and spice. Medium minus body, medium plus intensity and medium-to-medium plus acidity with medium wood tannin. Black cherry, raspberry and saddle leather mix and mingle on the palate. Balanced. 90pts.

My first impression was of disappointment, it was thin and pale.  Strong berry flavors, light body and short finish.  After my first taste, I left the house with almost a full glass on the counter.  Fortunately, the glass was still were I left it.  After 3 hours in the glass, it opened up enough to grab my attention.  I would like to give this wine another year or 2 in the bottle.  88 pts.
