| This was a young'un.
- 2004 Radio-Coteau Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard - USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley (7/22/2006)
Probably a 92 with a little more age. This wine had a very distinctive Radio-Coteau nose of spices and black cherries with the addition of an earthy note with the flavors. It was balanced with good focus. There is the suggestion of heat on the finish which serving at the proper temperature would probably mask. It had a lush and velvety texture that really added to the wine. (91 pts.)

| | Haven't popped one of these in a while and decided tonight was the night. It was worth the wait. This has really come together. Reminds me of a baby version of the Kistler Cathernine Pinot I had a couple weeks ago. Great nose of red fruits, spice, hints of cola, mushrooms, and leather. All follows through with a elegant feel and nice long lingering finish. Popped and poured and enjoyed over a couple hours. 92 pts. | | | |
