| Price: unknown.
The wine was not decanted. Tasted over 2 hours. The wine improved with time. A nice bottle of pinot. It is a young pinot that I would hold for @ least 2-4. It was a bit tight @ 1st, but after an hour or so in the glass, it picked up some steam…
Rating: 92, 92+/93 (I think there is room for improvement to reach the 93 level). I don't see much more than that though...
P.S.: I think it received a big Parker rating 95 or so. A very nice bottle of pinot I have to say, but I don't see 95 points in it.

I'd be careful about judging this wine so early. The better Rochioli block pinots are at least 7-8 year wines (Eric Lundblad has shared a couple from the early 90s, and they're awesome now). Unless you've tasted these wines both young and with sufficient age, I think it can be hard to predict the aging pattern. The wine may never hit RMP's number, but I know it wil be better than it is now or will be in 2-4 years.

| Price=$55 Parker score is 96.
SFWine is right about these being able to age. I have 2 tucked into the back of my cellar, and they are among the few New World Pinots that I own that I may very likely keep for 10+ years. But I also trust your judgment and don't necessarily think that Parker is the beginning and the end when it comes to New World Pinot. He has given some perplexingly low scores to wines that I love, and some equally perplexingly high scores to high octane Pinotfandels that I just don't get. | | | Beta testing a new signature. |

| Perhaps, SFWine. Wow, 96 points is a lot of points. I did post the wine may improve some with time… I don’t see 96 though in any way, shape, or form. Heck, I could be wrong, but it is not my 1st "young" Pinot in my life. If it is a 96 point wine or reaches the 96 point level, that’s great. I did not see it in this bottle (young or not).
Besides all that, I think it is a nice bottle of wine. Jimmy posted above that it costs $55.00, I don’t have a problem paying $55.00 for this wine (which I thought was a 92-93 point wine).
