not much of tasting note but....
had this last night with filet. had it in the decanter for 30 min but with 5 guys this was gone real fast! wish i had more time to air this young bottle. I thought that this bottle was similar to 02' but little more complex. had tons of black currant and sweet tannin. since my friend is in process of moving he did not have proper stems...couldn't really get the nose on this
if i was to do this over i would decant it for few hours. i am glad i have 5 more....this might be my second favorite drinkward after 00'

Thanks for taking one for the team, ricky. We usually get these in NJ for a good price. I have it on my list to track down when our retailers get some in the stores.

Also glad to have the balance of a six-pack remaining.

  Decanted for about 2.5 hours, but among a dozen wines informally drunk at dinner with no detailed notes. Black-fruit based wine with fine tannins and a nice long finish. Oak still has a prominent place, but not too strong. Nice wine, solid value. (91 pts.)
