Decanted 20 mins, tasted over 2 hours.
What a nice bottle of Pinot. The bottle opened up nicely after 30+ mins of air. Full body, a lot of fruit, & a nice finish though lacking complexity & depth. Also, just a bit, a bit one-dimensional. Still, a very nice bottle of wine that we enjoyed a lot. The finish is plentiful. This is your prototypical CA pinot.
I opened it because mountainman posted that it is ready to go. And, it is ready to go with some air time. I don't see it improving, but will be drinking @ this level for the next 2-4.
I have 2 more bottles: 1 will be opened in 07, the other in 08.
