| One of (too many) wines tasted at the Sir Willy Offline, held at the Grill at Meadowood Resort, Sunday, April 13th.
Black as night, yet ‘clear’ with a WOW nose showing tremendous depth, with notes of blueberries, and crushed blackberries. I loved this wine for the depth of character it showed, and I think it has a long future ahead it. However, if you love the exuberance and liveliness of a young, ripe, exciting Syrah, don’t wait but do give it some time decanting. 92+, drink now-2012 | | | 2008: the end of an error |
