Purchased on release froma retailer. Cost was $36. Drunk from Riedel Somm Bordeaux glasses. Not decanted. This was a singleton from the cellar.

This wine had a good amount of fruit but seemed disjointed and a bit rough. Not really a tasty wine. However when we combined it with the1998 Pride merlot the combination was actually a pretty decent wine as the oak of the Pride really added something to the Wing Canyon that it was missing.
