Sorry to hear that. Those old Diamond Creeks are usually great wines. The 1984 Lake is one of the best American wines I'ver ever had.

Board-O, I think this was an off bottle. The other '84's had mid-neck fills and were in perfect condition. For some reason this bottle had leaked and was a mid-shoulder fill. It was my least favorite of the '84 cabs that night, but it opened up in the glass and was drinking pretty well by the end of the night. I had thought that it would give the Ridge MB a run for its money. That was not to be though. I'll open another '84 Diamond Creek soon to see if they are drinking better.

I've had several of the 1984 DCs but none recently. They were all outstanding.
