Opened about 1 hour before dinner and poured into a decantur. There was a bit of sediment in this bottle. Initially a muted nose and not much on the palate. There were hints of chocolate, and dark fruits, but it was just that, a hint. Had a great velvety feel. After being under-whelmed we poured the last glass and put it into the cellar. We came back to the glass about 2-3 hours later. Wow, what a difference the air time made. Incredible nose of chocolate, currants, and dark berries. It all follows through on the palate with a nice long velvety finish. Would recommend holding a few more years. If you need to open one give it lots of air time.
