$20 f/winery 14.7%.

Clear, but deep ruby in color, nose is strikingly pure showing focused brambly fruit and a mineral component not normally associated with Zin. Acidity is sufficient to balance the clearly ripe, extracted fruit, presenting a wonderful explosion of sweet and tart sensations of raspberries and blackberries within a well structured framework. American Oak is noticeable, but not overwhelming, and tannins are present but more subdued by the acidity. Not one for laying down, but it’s drinking well now.
