| drank over five hours. paid $15 on release almost three years ago. i enjoy marietta wines, especially their old vines, zins and angeli cuvee. i think they are one of the best california qpr wineries. i tried one of these on release and then bought two cases as my everyday cali cab.
14.7% alc. dark opaque purple, slow moving legs, expansive nose of ripe blackberries, casis and chocolate. extracted ripe flavors of black fruit and coffe on the long finish. medium to full bodied, this is an aussie/zin type of cab that handles the alcohol well. soft sweet tannins suggest this wine should be drunk up over the next few years. me90 | | | |
