2003 Pride Mountain Merlot - USA, California, Napa/Sonoma, Spring Mountain District (9/7/2005)
Tasted at the winery. Thick and spicy with vanilla, oak and a hint of green celery with a hot finish. Very wild and disjointed at this time; will need a lot of bottle time/age to integrate. Could be a winner in 5-7 years.

will open the 03 after the first of the year.

Poped one of these tonight with Dad. Good stuff. Nice nose and sweet tannins. While still very young its still very enjoyable. LC92pts.

Will probably try another in 6 months.
