Notes from Denver Merlot Tasting

Aged color, with orangish-brownish tint. Rich, earthy nose with hints of eucalyptus and rose. Smooth tannins, but hollow on the mid palate and a slightly bitter, short finish. A wine that some loved while others didn’t care for it at all.
