I don't know that he has anymore of that particular wine. My brother is a local celebrity here in Sacramento and has been for 35+ years. He is always given wine gems as gifts, and the kicker is that he doesn't care who makes it or what it costs because it all tastes the same to him. He owned a Pinot vineyard in Sonoma back in the 60's so he does know a bit about wine, but just doesn't care about brands or hype. This Inglenook could have been a Rancho Zabaco zin and he would have treated it just the same.
One of the very first wine experiences I had was when I was 21 and at Thanksgiving he brought out a bottle of 78 La Tache, and he had no clue what it was, and neither did I at the time. I am fortunate to have him in my family for many reasons, but this is the best.
When Rush Limbaugh last re-newed his contract he sent my brother a case of 1986 Domaine de la Romanee Conti Le Montrachet as a thank you gift for getting him out of Sacramento and start his broadcast nationaly as well as his TV show.
