| Deep ruby with bouquet redolent of blackberry, currant, and cherry, this wine had a medium palatal weight. Hints of leather, rubber, and well defined dark fruits dominate its taste profile with a slowly evolving long finish, this is not a wine for those looking for an Oregon lightweight. Food friendly, consumed tonight with a mushroom and duck risotto, there was not enough wine for my wife and me, so naturally we cracked open a second which was finished with cinnamon cookies (Stella D'Oro). 89 rating, still very young with enough acidity and tannin(for a PN) to last for several years and improve again.
