| Dark rich colors that faded at the edges. Sticky leggs that clinged to the glass. Aromas exploded out of the bottle that reminded me of plums and caramel. Initially the body was thich and soft. Tannins were perfectly intigrated. Took on a "portlike" quality as tastes progressed. Finnished with rose petals. Overall this was one of the best merlots I have ever had. I usually drink Merlot young like most people, but a little bit of age really did wonders for this wine.
