Tasted w/ Tbird & mrs., Revlis and Board-O at Triomphe in NYC. Thank you to Frued for setting us up w/ a no corkage reservation. Wine was decanted for 1 hour at home, returned to the bottle and corked. Then consumed about 3 hours later. Wine Tasted from Riedel Vinum Bordeaux stems.

Wine has a a moderately dark red to cherry red rim. Powerful nose of dark cherries and roses. Velvety mouthfeel and medium bodied, this wine was filled with black cherry, tobacco and minerally notes. Long penetrating finish. Tannins were still fairly present, so I will give my last bottle 3 more years. Very fine Pinot. jb Rating 92.

This wine was my red wine of the night and I am looking forward to the other BC bottlings in my cellar, Melville and Clos Pepe.
