Mailing List about $43.00. Decanted for 30-40 minutes. The bottle had some sediment in it. Tasted right-out of the bottle, & it does need that 30min decanting. Nice red color but on the lighter-side. Not so deep, beautiful red. Nice aroma of fruit. As the Wine opened-up the nose got stronger, but not the most powerful nose (although tasty). The wine smoothed-out with time. Nice body (not full-bodied) & does not overwhelm you with Fruit & Taste. Yet, @ the same time, a wine that has a good amount of flavor & fruit (black cherry, plumb, raspberry). A good bottle of Wine. Nice drinking Wine. Leaves you satisfied & comfortable with the QPR (Price). Will Not blow you away, but then again will Not disappoint. Just what you would expect of a Duckhorn Cab. Note: The '97 release, I like a little more. Shows more of everything that I described above. This is a little weaker version of the '97 (as to compare, for those that had the '97). Drink now (with 30-40min) decanting. Or, hold (@ most 1-2 years). At most. Then you will start to loose this Wine. But, no reason @ all, Not to let it fly now. Rating: 91points. Good, solid bottle of Wine.

Wow, last time I had this was in 03, I guess. Well, this was not my bottle but I would be drinking these asap. Not the bottle above & on the way down. Still not bad but not very interesting either. Rating: 86 point, drink now.
