| Interesting. I have never purchased, but would like to this year. I've heard disparaging remarks about ol' Fred, and Carol #2 treated me like #2 when I called the winery (it was one of the Carols anyway, not his wife), so I'm not inclined to give them my $625, but the scores are compelling... | | | |

| Got allocated the 2pack -- really torn on this one. Been looking forward to the mailer but 1 each of just 2 doesnt seem meaningful enough to experiment with. Still stinging that I was too late to pull the trigger on the Corra so will probably bite and see what happens next year. | | | |

| Got the offer. Reviews and ratings really are excellent. I'm tempted to buy and flip, but with the current auction market.... | | | |

| I'm in like flynn for my 2 pack. Probably going to request extras. I can't pass on this one given how hyped the winemaker is.
Rickym13, check in the folder again - Parker's rating's from barrel for the '06's are included in the mailer. Not the end scores from him but he does seem very high on the '06's.

| I buy these every year, but they use the WORST shipper (Aero) and the costs have really gotten out of hand. Not happy with paying at least $75 for 5 bottles and another $67 for a freaking magnum, plus tax. Ridiculous. | | | |

| I sent an email to Schrader voicing concern about Aero. In the past, when I've called Schrader regarding the high shipping costs (that are ALWAYS higher than what is quoted on the mailer), they defer to Aero and say they handle shipping. When I have spoken to Aero, they are extrremely defensive and blame Schrader for insisting that each bottle be hand wrapped in paper and claim that the costs are for "handling". To me, it's BS. Problem is that I love the wine and am basically at their mercy.
It would be great if others on the list emailed them with similar complaints, especially those who are passing - tell them the shipping costs are unreasonable and you have to pass on the wine as a result.

I tried faxing today, but it wouldn't go thru - just me? anyone else have this problem? Rob, I had problems with my initial fax.......in fact, I received a message stating "bad line." However, when I tried using a different fax I had no problem (although the second was from a much better fax machine).
