Just got an e-mail from Pahlmeyer for 01' Jayson @ $45 ea.
Anybody buying this or have notes on it?

I'll probably buy a couple as I seem to be hitting my 2001 cab/blend buying spree stride. While the Jayson's are usually less than thrilling, I feel this might be a reasonable $45 gamble.

I've had a couple of older Jaysons and been very disappointed with them. In fact, I'm not a fan of Pahlmeyer at all.

Come on, any of our Napa friends taste this one yet? I got the offer and am tempted. At least they ship to NY using New Vine Logistics, but I do have to pay tax!

I'm surprised I got this offer as well since passing on everything they've sent since the '97 Cab. No taker here for this one as well.

I bought some 00 Jayson chard as a favor to my brother, so he could stay in their good graces.
Within 6 months, there was nothing left but oak, oak, and more oak. The fruit had virtually disappeared.
Not a good thing for $30 a bottle.

Never again!
