"This estate, located along the Saar tributary of the Mosel, is run by winemaker Christian Ebert and his wife Andrea. This intense dessert wine, actually a Beerenauslese in ripeness, comes from a very steep portion of low-yielding, ungrafted vines planted in 1943. Concentrated, exotic and smoky, with pear, apricot and lanolin aromas and flavors matched to a bracing structure. It maintains delicacy and kicks into overdrive on the long, pear-infused finish. Best from 2005 through 2015. (B.S.)"

I've my 13 already, so I'm passing on these. I hope others take advantage of this (?apparently?) great opportunity, though.

Yep, I'm passing as well, but thought others might be interested. According to the K&L site, only five left on hand...

Should be pretty good stuff, but I've pretty much set the ceiling at $40/bottle and have made only a few exceptions (Christoffel UW Auslese***, Fritz Haag BJ-S auslese and Monchoff Pralat auslese).
