| Came yesterday... Wines and prices are: 2006 McCrea Chardonnay $75 (RMP93-94) 2006 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay $75 (RMP 92-94)
2006 Durrell Chardonnay $75 (RMP 94-96) 2006 Kistler Pinot Noir $80 (RMP 90-92)
My total allocation is 68 bottles. I suspect my order will run somewhere around zero bottles.

Ditto on both. My first Kistler pass in years.

| Unlike previous years, I'm not even trying to find takers to help me fill a case this time. As with the honorable Kistler drinkers above, I too will be passing on this mailer. | | | Cheers, y'all | |

| No love for Kistler?
I ordered my case. My wife loves the stuff and I have never had anything but a fantastic bottle...

| I will order one case only. I've never ordered fewer than 2 before, but with 2 successive price increases totalling about 25% in 2 vintages in a depressed economy, the end is near for me. I intend to stay for one more offer to get the cuvees, then (like Aubert) I'm dropping them like a bad habit. | | | |

| This is the least interesting offer from Kistler in a while. With these prices and selections, the full case requirement makes it very hard to spend $1000 just to stay on the list for the cuvees. | | | |

Interesting allocation numbers this time around. I know several people that got the 68-bottle allocation. I know that I get one of the largest allocations they offer and I always buy the total allocation so I have no reason to suspect that my allocation has been cut back. The interesting part is that my allocation is 72 bottles. What I believe is that the allocation is two additional bottles each of both the Durell and the Pinot.

| David - My usual co-buyer of Kistler has been unable to sell any of the Chardonnay she bought in the spring. I do love Kistler, but at these prices, and with the large purchases required, I'm sitting it out. | | | |

| RandyW, Though it sounds like you'd just rather Kistler leave you alone, if you want to keep active on the mailer, I'll buy 3 each of the Chards from you at cost plus whatever it takes to ship to you. (Or even better if they can ship straight to me.) Let me know and I'll send you a check. | | Randy Sloan Match Vineyards | |

| Randy -- That sounds good. I love the Chardonnay, I just can't handle a check. Let me figure out logistics and I'll get back to you.
Anyone want some of the Pinot?

| Randy,
I'll go for the Pinot. I sell some of the Chards at my cost to my non-wino friends. The name on the bottle makes it taste wonderful for them but they always ask for some Pinot too. If I can include more Pinot in my "offerings" they would be thrilled.
