| | I assume that we can pass this one without consequence? I wouldn't mind if I never got another Spring offer, but I am not sure that I am ready to walk away from the June offer. | | | |

| | Bought, am sharing much of it. As Dan says, the SB is outstanding. | | | |

| Got this offer. Easy pass. Wish I made the salary where a $48 Sauv Blanc was a no-brainer. Interestingly, there was an insert where I could ask for additional allocations. The Cab was on it. I've never bought a bottle of their wine, but if I could jump right into a Cab allocation....well, I suppose I'd buy. | | | |

Are you new on the list? I jumped immediately into a Cab allocation (the Eisele comes in the next mailer), and I suspect that you will as well. Their SB is excellent, but hardly a no-brainer. I am passing this mailer by.

| | I lucked out: Araujo for the first time granted me an allocation of the Sauvignon Blanc in half bottles. Bought without hesitation the six half bottles offered me. As always, the Araujo will be my go to Sauvignon Blanc this summer. | | | |

| | Dave, yes I'm new to the list. I think I've received a few mailers before, always their Sauv Blancs and fruity crap like olive oil, soap, and mega-overpriced vanity junk I have no use for (now honey?). If they'll offer me Cab, I'm game. I faxed in that increase allocation insert this morning, we'll see when the next mailer goes out if I'm in. | | | |

| | Oh good. You are in luck. If you skip the SB, then that will definitely affect future SB allocations, but it shouldn't affect your cab allocation. I wouldn't give the SB a second thought. If you are looking for a great California SB and want a label that will impress friends, then it is hard to beat. If the wine in the bottle is paramount, there are far better choices at lower price points elsewhere. | | | |

There isn't. You could spend more if you wanted to - Lail, Vineyard 29, etc. - but year in and year out the Araujo is the best or near the best SB made in California. Araujo is a first class operation in all aspects. People drinking Araujo are hardly label drinkers. People with genuine familiarity of their products know that.

Randy, elsewhere as in Loire. I actually like pulling out my Araujo olive oil at dinners with winelovers. The label is a nice conversation piece. Certainly not the best olive oil in my pantry though.

| | The Araujo typically has a fair amount of Viognier which gives it a certain style. Good if you like that, not so good if you don't. My go-to SBs are Spottswoode and Selene. | | | |

| Cool. A throw down. Find some old (15+) California Chenin Blancs to round out the tasting. | | | |

| | Back in the day Chalone made some awesome chenin blancs. Lost a couple in the cellar; when I discovered them they were about 12 as I recall, and was stunning. | | | |
