| | I consider the whites a must buy. Prices are up a little this year (the estate chard and roussanne/marsanne are up $5), but I still think their white wines are among the best California white wines for the price. I've never purchased their pinots. | | | |

Interesting. I've never bought their whites. Just ordered the Pomarium and Scallop Shelf.

| | I'm slitting my own throat by saying this (because I want extras) but the Peay whites are an extremely strong buy imo. I can't keep any of the whites "in stock" so to speak. They are all gone before the next release (and I know that a few years aging is advisable even for the Viognier).

| Peay whites = strong buy. I drank more of the 05 Rousanne/Marsanne tonight and it was very, very good. The prices are getting up there (they need to watch this for white wines) but they are still one of the best Cali buys.
I'll be a buyin'. | | | |

| | I just ordered 3 1/2 cases of assorted bottles of 06 Peay. I'm a poor but happy camper. | | | |

| Send an email to Andy at peayvineyards.com. I had a problem with the ordering system (total showed as $0.00 so couldn't complete order) and he responded very quickly.

| | Despite planning on passing, I'm going to purchase some whites. If I only wanted one bottle of one of the Pinots, which should it be? | | | |

I would say Scallop Shelf as well but if you are planning on drinking the wine fairly soon then Pomarium would be the way to go.

In the context of today's wine prices $35 for the Viognier and $40 for the RM really doesn't seem all that bad to me. Some newbie like Jonata would mix the wines up, put them in a $3 Italian glass bottle, and charge $100.

| Winetex / Dan, you guys are killing me!
I'm trying to keep a modicum of moderation and now you have me rethinking my order.

| | I popped a 2002 Peay Pinot... I'm not 100% positive, but I think I detect a touch of brett in this wine. Huh? | | | |
