I've made 2 purchases from Vintage Wine Merchants in San Jose, CA (Santana Row) during the past 6 months or so. The first was ordered online, held for a few weeks, and picked up in person when I was on a trip to the bay area, and the second was ordered online and shipped to me here in TX. The shipping was as requested, prompt and reasonable.� In both cases, they were among the lowest priced offerings on wine-searcher, and unlike the cheaper listings, they had the wine in stock. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. No affiliation, and past performance is no guarantee ... Scott

I've enjoyed their service every time I go in. I signed up on their mailing list, they have never emailed me a thing. I don't think they are a high pressure outfit... which is nice.

You may not have made it onto their mailing list correctly. I get about 5-10 emails a month from them. I agree that it's a nice shop, mostly pretty knowledgeable staff, and not a high pressure outfit. -Al

After three weeks I received a "Welcome to our email list". I figure they will offer me wine in a couple of years. I think they are copying the Marcassin model of very little communications :-D
