Well, the unlimited Sonoma Zin did it. I ordered 36 of those. Hey, like Mike says, I don't think you'll find a better $16 bottle of wine anywhere.

I'm willing to bet $576 that he's right

I got the same allocation as Tim... 27 bottles plus the unlimited Sonoma Zin.
I don't think I'll be ordering 36 of them, though. I've got no place to put them!!!
I have a feeling that some of that will show up at retail.

ALso - when you factor shipping and tax (at least for us) the per bottle price goes up by something like $9 - still a good value but not nearly as good as $16. We are buying 2 cases - I believe. Can't see buying any less than that.

Understood (about the shipping). I'm fortunate enough to live about 80 miles south. We're able to pick up and avoid the shipping costs all together. That's a huge bonus.

Skipping.

That's the first time I've seen someone skip an offering from Carlisle...

Healthy.  That said, I cannot do that.  I may limit myself to a case though.

Albeit a group order, took my 27 bottle allocation plus 26 of the Sonoma zin for an even 53 - Ohio requires sales tax on shipping - what a nice racket!

If anyone (preferably in the Northeast) has any extra Carlisle to spare, please let me know.

To make a long story short, it appears that back in January I faxed my order form to Carlisle upside down.  I only found out today when i sent Mike an email to confirm my order was received.  (it wasn't)  So I missed the window and I'm getting shut out.

Real bummer, because this is actually my most eagerly-anticipated mailer.

John... if you're anywhere near New Jersey, Carlisle usually shows up there at retail.
I've been to Wine Library and to Canal's in MArlton, and they both had several of Mike's 2005s.

Hey, I did it!  I skipped.  Not 100% intentional, but subconsciously perhaps.  I'm sure I'll buy some Syrahs in the Fall.
