and, did your honey buy that?
Has yours ever bought it?  No, I didn't think so...not a chance here either.

Bob is in a different bracket.  Stacy competes with shoes.  Based on the cost of her shoes, I'm guessing she is either even or slightly ahead.

Revisiting in preparation for the fall mailer...  I am planning the rest of my year.  I've got too much wine, and it is hard to sell it now, so no reason to buy something unless I really want it.  Here are the mailers I'll be buying from the rest of the  year:
Alban
Araujo
Shafer Hillside
Abreu
Saxum
Sine Qua Non

Cusp:
Paloma
Switchback
Schrader

Mailers I'm skipping:
Aubert Pinot (unless someone buys them, they are easily sellable at cost)
Kistler
Pride
Herb Lamb
Loring
Turley
Futo
Kosta Browne (!!!! waaah!)
Foley
Blackbird
Denner

I've done well recently... I have bought any wine at all this month

I'll probably buy all Sine Qua Non that is offered to me. I might buy some of the Switchback Ridge offered to me. Everything else is being jettisoned this Fall in favor of wine and other purchases during our trip to Italy in October.

I've got Rochioli and Quilceda Creek. Everything else hits in December/January, thank god. Joe, I can't believe you're skipping the Rochioli SVD pinots ;-)

Don't forget about the summer QC offering...

I'll probably be in for whatever quantity of the SVD they offer but it's probably a no for me on the red wine.

(And R8der, I'm certainly one of the people that you mention who will be more than happy to take some KB from Randy!)

I'll probably pass along all of my KB at cost to locals this Fall but if not I'll definitely let you guys know. I don't want any for myself. They're all yours.

Randy, apparently Schrader is somewhat flippable also, if you care to keep your spot on the list but reduce your position (I have never flipped it, but that's what I've heard).

WIML, that is awfully generous of you on the Kosta Browne. I'd love to get some, but in some ways I'm hoping that those that don't want the wine will just not buy it...that way those of us on the mailing list that do still want to purchase can get an allocation. I just had the 05 RR tonight, and it was damn tasty. But the 06s were WAY up in price, at least for the appelations. I can't wait to see the pricing on the vineyard designates...

Come to think of it, if I don't buy KB (yes, I'm on the fence, I have very little will power, which explains my cellar) I will share it with fellow forumites.

The SVDs are going to weigh in at $68 each, a $16 increase since the 04 vintage. My desire to purchase my entire allocation is sinking fast.
