What is everyone going to do? The prices have really increased year to year. Don't know if I will get an offer. That said... Wine Advocate scores notwithstanding, this has been a good sub-$100 alternative to higher priced CA wines for me. (I have piggybacked on others' orders). I have never loved this wine the way Parker and the other guy do. I don't think I have placed a score of over 94 points for any single wine, with admittedly, room for upward movement over time. Nothing to sneeze at. But at $115, this falls into the bucket with all the other $100+ wines I have to consider, and for the most part, they are all getting dropped. This is no different. I won't be buying. | | Beta testing a new signature.

i am taking my order when it comes out....i do share some with friends. also they are still going high on secondary market...over $200 for most of the recent vintages. buy 12 and sell 6. your bottle cost will be cut in half | | | |

So I guess that means I'm in...

| | I received an entry-level allocation of 3 cab, no merlot. Will probably buy (no shipping and a pick-up party is a nice touch) and hope to trade one of the 05's for an 03 (birth year). If anyone in CA or WA has an 03 and is willing to trade, let me know. | | | |

| | Been able to buy the QC Red for the last three years, and was just removed from the wait list for an allocation of 3xCab. Cost keeps rising, but still a buyer for this one. | | | |

| Just received my mailer, notifying that the wine will go on sale on 1/7/08, and will be first come, first served. Received the same allocation as last year, 12 750ml, 2 1500ml, of the cab and 6 750ml of the merlot. Will likely need to sell of 1/2 to help with the bills.

| | Yea, I finally made the list after a 2 1/2 year wait! Just a 3 bottle allocation, but with the new prices that is just about right. | | | |

| If anyone in the Bay Area wants some 750s please send me a PM.
The two of you who have posted wanting some above it would sure be nice if we knew what part of the country you are from.

I also got the Jan 14 date. Could be that existing buyers have an earlier date, followed by newbies who could could see slightly larger allocations if people passed.

| Got two emails from Quilceda today the last one containing my allocation.
24 Cab 750's 3 Cab 1500's 6 Merlot 750's
Historically
I always ordered 24/6/6 and last year was cut back to 3 mags. Not happy
about that, but I guess it comes with success.

| I also received the January 14th date but my allocation was increased to 6 750's and 1 1500. Like I said, love me some QC but the price increases are starting to get a little bit to rich for my blood.
Will probably sell a few 750's, PM me if interested. Otherwise, they're off to auction when they arrive.

| | I received a 1 mag, 12 cab, 6 merlot allocation. I'll be grabbing all the cab, but really haven't considered spending $75 on merlot, will most likely pass on that. | | | |
