I have access to some 1997 BV GDL for $125 per. I've had the GDL before (pre-THC scandal) and thought it was quite good. Should I buy? Yay? Nay? Thanks in advance.

I've had it a couple of times recently. It is a nice wine, but nowhere near $125. I'd pass.

WineSearcher shows several bottles well under $100.
Parker says it is a 90 point wine. You should be able to do better than that for $100.

Drink a Bressler.  It would be much better!

Just received an offer from Wine House for 1997 for $99.99

1997 Beaulieu Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Georges de Latour Private Reserve
Suggested Retail $120.00
Wine House Price $99.99
Wine Spectator 95 Points

Spectator Notes: "An extraordinary wine, dense, rich and earthy, with broad, plush tannins and tiers of complex currant, earth, cedar, black cherry, mineral and anise flavors. Keeps a tight focus on the long, rich, detailed aftertaste." -JL

Echo all above, I've had it a few times also over the last few years.

The last tiime I bought a bottle, I paid $75. I thought that was a fair market value.
