| i was just checking a few wine items on their site.
parker's new wine buying guide-$18.99 3 pack of 1995 chateau cos d'estournel-$144.99 (rp95) this is below the release price and an excellent deal. cos usually drinks well early, so for people new to bordeaux, this may be an excellent intro.

| Storage of 95 Cos would be a concern imo. | | | |

| i agree about the storage, but they are selling it in a 3 pack. with a little bit of luck their source is good. if anyone decides to buy it, i would try one bottle asap. | | | |

| I just heard about Costco and their wine. Visited the store in Hackensack - wasn't impressed. Thanks for the note on the web site, but I just bought two copies of Parker's 6th edition wine guide at full retail for presents. I take it shipping to NJ is no problem? | | | |

| I've never been able to buy any wine at the Danville Costco. If they ever have anything good, it's gone in hours. Don't know about the storage before getting to Costco, but in the summer it is brutal since they don't have any air conditioning and it gets over 100 here. Prices are good. | | | |

I think I'm getting the book for Xmas.

| i would not buy wine at costco during the summer. i don't buy much anyplace during the summer. the edison,nj costco keeps their wines next to the meat department. colder then most wine shops. you have to be lucky and get there early foor the good stuff. i just picked up 17 bottles of the 99 cinq cepages for $54 a bottle. the wine was just delivered. also bought a few bottles of the 85 fonseca vintage port. they will be receiving their 2000 bordeaux soon. i am sure the prices will be excellent. i understand costco was the largest buyer of 2000 futures in this country. | | | |

I thought I did well @ $66/bottle. SHEESH! I'm pleasantly surprised that you're moving into this stuff in such quantity -- you must be convinced of the quality, or the investment opportunity.
Either way, I'd love to hear your perspective on this wine.

| $54 is a pretty good price. I haven't seen it around here for less than $70 but haven't checked online. | | | |
