2004 Cabernet Sauvignon - $75



The considerable skills of our winemaker, Karen Culler and our vineyard Manager, Jim Barbour, have been known to produce exceptional results, even in very challenging harvest years.Â


However, as Karen recently remarked, now and then, we have a vintage so good that the winemaker's main responsibility should be simply to stay out of the way and allow the grapes to realize their evident promise. Our 2004 vintage is just such a year. From the first taste of the free run juice, we sensed it was a winner. That initial promise has truly been fulfilled in the final bottling of our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is rich in color, with aromas of dark fruit followed by chocolate, blackberry, and plum flavors, wrapped up in those supple textured tannins that Karen is so famous for and which will insure years of beautiful cellaring.

This incredible vintage also resulted in one of our lowest total production, only 325 cases. As a vintner, a year like 2004 will not make you rich but it will make you proud. As a valued supporter of our wines, we are pleased to be able to offer you 6 bottles of our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon. Wines will be available on a first come, first served basis with an October 15th deadline.
