| | PaulH are you on the LOD? There is also a 24 bottle allocation and something that looks like a 12 bottle allocation (didn't count, but it had at least a single bottle of everything, including the 4 barrel . | | | |

| Dave,
I've been told I'm on the LOD. My first purchase of Kosta Browne wine was in March of 2004. However, I didn't buy any of the 2003 vintage other than the 4-barrel, which probably accounts for my smaller allocation. | | http://www.sweetandsourspectator.org

| Posted By wineismylife on 10/05/2007 5:32 PM Bought all 54 bottles and requested 6 extras for a nice round 60 bottles. I wondered why it so cold down here in Hell.
How much room you got left in that cellar Joe?
BTW... Don't ask. If I told you I would have to kill you!

| David,
Not to put this in a post, but did you get my e-mail?
I have so many problems (like you) with Safari and the new site.

Thats the first 36 bottles allocation I've seen anyone mention. I thought it was just 54, 8, and wish list.
CW
There are a few with a 96 bottle allocation as well. This is the top tier of the LOD. In some respects I'm glad I wasn't allocated that much.....I'd be too tempted to buy it all!

| | I just purchased an additional 20 bottles. That makes 50 of the 54 allocated. | | | |

| | I got the 24 bottle allocation. 54 sounds bad enough, but 96 bottles? That just seems silly - why not just open the list to more buyers? | | | |

Because those being allocated these amounts were actually buying a case of each wine back in 2002....before anybody knew who KB was. KB is simply trying to be fair to those who supported them the most when they first started out. I fully support this thought process.

Actually David I still have a ton of room in that cellar. I'm doing a REALLY GOOD JOB OF DRINKING.  Right now there are 965 bottles in there but I'm guessing by the end of the Fall shipping season I might be able to grow it to 1,100 bottles. The thing holds over 1,900 so I have a ton of room to grow.
btw, I made a mistake. I actually requested 9 extras so if I get everything I'll come in at 63 bottles total.  Of course I'm sharing most of that with local wine lovers and forum members.Â

| | It is the 36 bottle allocation (not the 50 something allocation). But, I was probably one of the 1st on the list. And, visited them 3 year straight. But, 36 is more than enough. These are not exactly cheap either. | | | |

| 96 bottles?
Mine is less than that (unless you count the wish-list)
The only one who might get something like this is good ol' Dan (and his compadres) and I wouldn't be surprised if it was more.
