Landshark, probably more than 3-4. The average is about 5-7. I am about to break through & it has been 5-6.

Congrats!
This is the only list I am still waiting to get on and hopefully it'll happen in a year or two.

I'm hoping to make it on, but no word yet. I believe I've been waiting 6 years.

I am no longer fanatic about Marcassin, but that is a list I would like to be on as well.

do people ever ask for extras from SQN?
and do they ever get any?
or is it just take what you are offered and be happy.

has anyone ever seen subsequent offers increase after asking for extras?

Landshark -

What kind of e-mail did you receive (if any) from SQN at the end of May? I wonder if the nature of the e-mail (T-Shirt offer only, T-Shirt + 'wish list', or other) has an indication of those individuals that are moving off the wait list and onto the active allocation list...

Alex, asking for extras is the way to increase your allocation.Â

I am guessing I never put my name on the waiting list when I went gonzo on mailing lists several years ago. Oh well. I am probably one of the few who has been underwhelmed by the SQN wines that I have had.....expecting too much maybe(?).

Whooo Hoooo! I made the list too! Looks like a lot of us did! Same allocation as above, 6 each of the Grenache and Syrah, and the box of the sweet wines.

Finally made the list as well. Fortunate since I will no longer be near my points of access to the wines I have had for the last 5 years.

BTW, I'm not really too into these sweet wines, so if anyone wants them at my cost let me know. It's a box containging two 375ml bottles of 2004 "The Straw Man" and one 375ml bottle of the 2006 "The Ice Man" - $255 +tax & shipping.
