| Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen
Well some of you may remember me from the early days of this site and I would like to say that I miss all of my old friends. Unfortunatly, my wine hobby has fallen off in the last few years as I have developed a new passion. I currently spend all of my free time (which is next to none) homebrewing. To date I have won over 15 medals for my brews including 3 gold medals for my English Brown Porter. Having both of these hobbies at the same time became to much effort for me and so I was forced to choose, and to me, I found the product I was making by my own hand to be more enjoyable then that which I was buying.
Some of you may remember that I had won a Magnum of 1991 Dominus at a Vinocellar event in New York City a few years back. Well, I have still not consumed it! Couldn't bring myself to tap into this little piece of history. That is why I am here. I could never imagine selling it (nor would I ever) to any non-vinocellar member. However, I would like it to be in the hands of someone who would appreciate it more then I.
Here's the deal. I am in the market for a new stainless steel conical fermenter for my brewing. I thought it would be appropriate for me to offer to sell this bottle to a member of this site and use the proceeds towards my purchase. I can promise you all that the bottle has been kept in my temperature controlled wine cellar (which is soon to be converted into a fermentation chamber) since the time when it came into my hands. It would make me feel good to know one of you had it, and I would think about my good times at VC every time I heard my new fermenter's air lock Chug! As an added bonus, the first batch I plan on making in the new conical is a recipe I will call Vinocellar's Barley Wine - sure to be a medal winner!
Please feel free to ask any questions. I will be monitoring the site and would love to catch up with all of you.
You guys still rock - keep up the good work!

| I guess I could use your name, but that would be like calling myself "WoodbrigdeMan" in wine terms.
(It's a Budweiser Joke people, get with it)
You may now refer to me as "The Barley WIne Guy" instead of "The Claret Kid" | | | |

| TCK: This is a sentimental favorite of Mrs. 'Nerd & I: We were gifted a bottle of this for our 5th anniversary, and popped it @ th French Laundry back in 2002. Ends up Christian Moueix was there the night prior to our dinner, whihc was rather interesting, too.
Our 10-year anniversary is this year on Halloween, which will be 2 months after the arrival of our 2nd Mini-Nerd, so it's safe to say that Kim will be itching for agood quaff to celebrate by then!
In any case, I would certainly be interested in this bottle if the price isn't too high. It's something we've oohed and aahed over to our friends and to be able to share a larger format with them would make for a great event. PM me with a price range, and hopefully it'll fit into our budget (new family room to house the toys is being planned as we speak!)
Thanks in advance
