| Just received an email from Ramey announcing the release of the '04 Jericho Canyon and '04 Pedregal. Had been thinking of picking up a few (particularly the latter) but the pricing is a bit more than I expected (JC = $110, Pedregal = $140)... | | |

| That's disappointing. While I'm sure they will be a bit cheaper at competitive retail stores, they're still expensive... | | | |

| Iirc the JC was about $90 last year, having escalated pretty rapidly from $75 a couple years earlier, so $110's a big jump. And $140 for the Pedregal is very disappointing. | | | |

| Will look for these at retail, but won't pay triple digits for them. If that means I get shut out, well, I'll survive. Wine Library seems to have a good relationship with Ramey, so I expect them to carry these close to the lowest possible price. If their price is unattractive (as it was for the '03 Insignia), then this will get passed. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| I lost my notes, but at the Family Winemaker's event in SF, I tried the Pedregal, and it was a fabulous wine, the best of the lineup. It was a purchase (in my mind) until I saw the price on the mailer. | | | TN posted on Cellartracker"

That is ridiculous...I love the wines, but those prices are out of line...can still get 20's and 03's for $75 per... | | | |
