| 2004 Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Jean Edwards Cellars is pleased to announce the release of our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon from Stagecoach Vineyard. This mountain cabernet sauvignon has a rich color with dark red and purple-hued undertones. The nose exhibits wonderful dark fruit, vanillin, tobacco leaf, toasty oak and a subtle hint of leather. The palette is well-rounded with integrated flavors focusing on black fruit, baker’s chocolate, cassis and vanilla. The velvety tannins are smooth and supple in the mouth and the finish is long and elegant. While remaining true to its mountain origins, there is a slight hint of “valley dust” with the addition of fruit from the To-Kalon vineyard. This is a well-balanced wine that is built to age gracefully. While delicious now, those with patience will be rewarded with additional complexity and depth of character.
