Any idea which wines will be available and what the pricing will be?

Check out the website (www.radiocoteau.com). It has all of the information you are looking for like price etc.

I've been looking forward to this mailer.

From the web site:

"The end of February will mark the close of the allocation period, at which time any wines remaining in your allocation will be made available to others on the mailing list. If you would like to purchase wines in addition to your allocation, a request can be made through the "Wish List" function at the end of the ordering process. "

Sounds like they're going to guaranteed allocations, which is a very positive development IMO.

Looks like no Hellenthal and, of course, no Marsh. Only two pinots, the La Nebblina and Savoy. Three syrahs and the zin. At the moment, my allocation of each is one bottle. Hope that changes tomorrow, when this is supposed to go live. I ordered a six-pack of pinot from R-C the last two vintages and would be bummed to get only two bottles of pinot this year.

Leave it to Radio Coteau to make a mess of on-line ordering. According to the website, allocations and orders will be available starting February 7th. If you'd like to order now, however, just log in and order. My allocations were amazingly low (1-2 bottles of each; 0 of the lowest production pinot). I ordered 6 bottles.

Shipping charges for UPS 3-day mail are a whooping $7+ per bottle (I pay less for 2 day shipping with most other wineries). It looks like you have one shot to place your order. I didn't order my entire allocation, but when I logged back in it said that I had no allocations available. You also can't log back in to see what you ordered, but recollection is that they will send an email with your order details.

There are 4 pinots:
La Neblina (allocated 2; ordered 0)
Alberigi (allocated 1; ordered 1)
Savoy (allocated 2; ordered 2)
Terra Neuma (allocated 0)

I was only allocated one bottle of the zin.

Whoops, just got my confirmation email, but it just gives the total and the shipping info, so take careful notes when ordering!

I have not tasted the 04s from bottle but Oeno-File Volume 4 Issue 1 had notes for all the wines except for the cuvees (because they did not exist yet) from barrel.

At present after entering my password the website tells me no allocations are currently available.

Oh dear. They probably shut it down after I ordered. Good, that'll likely mean that you will be able to order more than once and that you will be able to review past orders.

It looks like they will have it available tomorrow, February 7...?
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is... .ps - friends don't let friends eat farmed salmon.

Received an e-mail from Eric Sussman. The ordering system was temporarily available because they were testing it. Hope my allocation increases tomorrow.

I hope so too. I was hoping to get a case each of the Cherry Camp and Timbervine Syrahs and the Savoy Pinot as well as (perhaps really optimistically) a six pack of the Terra Neuma (although I'd buy a case if that was at all possible).

Man oh man. I am probably going to get another telephone call from Eric Sussman (who seemed like a nice guy that didn't relish those calls) taking back wine. It would be nice if the actual allocations are higher than what I saw. If not, I predict as much anguish over the ordering process as there was last year.

I imagine they might give you some generous allocations. They have you quoted on the web site for the 2003's!

Currently my fav wines, so yes I am not passing this by @ all. Ordering in the next couple of days for sure.

Jones, what's the deal with Eric's Sonocino project? I contacted Eric about 6 months ago & asked the same question. He said that if I am on the R-C list, I would be receiving an allocation for Sonocino. That's the last I heard of any mention of this project.

Do you have any news???

You also can't log back in to see what you ordered,

Dave,
After you login, chose "My Account" along the bottom - that should let you see your entire order history.
