As you know we have a beautiful new facility for our Venge wines. Throughout the construction and operation of Venge Vineyards, we have strived to honor the past and embrace the present. In keeping with tradition, our 2002 Venge Cabernet Sauvignon is the best of the best from our Oakville Estate. We have nurtured this wine for 31 months in new French oak barrels. Additionally, this wine is unfined and unfiltered to preserve the natural character and flavors of our outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard. Here is what Robert Parker had to say about our effort. "The 2002 Venge Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a sweetheart of a wine displaying the vintage’s precocious, forward style, an unctuous texture, and extravagant levels of blackberry and cassis fruit interwoven with toasty new oak and spice box. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2020." He gave the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon a 92-94 points rating.

Your wine will be available for shipment or pick-up, at the winery, in May of 2005. The 2002 Venge Cabernet Sauvignon in the 750 ml bottle will not be released until January of 2007.
