Just got an email from The Wine Club in Santa Clara (CA). The spatlese is $30.00 (4 bottle limit, total 18 coming in) and the auslese is $38.99 (6 bottle limit, total 35 coming in. The first email that I got from them, the spatlese was $18.99 (I bought 12 of the 36 that came in) and the auslese was $22.99 (they let me buy 6 of the 24 coming in). The next shipment (about a month ago) the prices were $22.99 and $25.99. Although I have 3+ cases of the spatlese, I only have 18 of the auslese, so I bought the remaining 7 at K&L Wines for $31.99. The Wine Club told me that the initial shipment was their initial allocation and that the 2 shipments after that was through secondary sources. If you still see the wine at the lower prices, I would get them now. Even though the J.J. Prum WS is made in large quantities (by German standards), I think they only made about 1,000 cases of the spatlese.
