The 2002 is available from the winery (and probably elsewhere). 2002 is at least as strong a vintage as 2001, so I'd expect the wine to be comparable.

Im actually buying for my grandmother. She joined the Hartford Wine Club after having the '01 3 Jacks. She has since had the '02 and likes it but not nearly as much as the '01.

Geez, I think my palate is the same as your grandmother's. I prefered the 2001 as well but was not blown away by either.
