| Is there something I'm missing? Premier has '99 Yquem for $139 pre-arrival. Any thoughts? WS-94 is all I know, WA rates the vintage mid-range of the '95 to '00 vintages. I guess what really surprises me here (and I'm not complaining about lower prices), is that is $20 a bottle cheaper than Costco sold the '95 Yquem for and if you take into account the dollar falling by 30% since then, well that's just as Premier advertises in their e-mail, 'Cheap!' | | |

| Still not what I could consider "cheap", but I guess it's all relative. | | | 2008: the end of an error | |

| same price from wine club. Seems to be the standard price now. I agree with Eric -- doesn't look cheap to me, but everything is relative. | | | |

| I have mixed feelings on this. LVMH is out to change the image of Yquem; make it more available. Is this good? So people will buy this at $140 and drink it now? This IMO is what probably will happen. Truely a tragedy! And that means there will be much less of the stuff 10 years down the road.
LVMH is doing exactly what they had promised Alexander they would not do. 10 generations of de lur Saluces are turning in their grave. You watch; France will have an earthquake soon. | | | |

| Don't worry, Davidn, LVMH has already said they're going to jack the price back up on the 2001. | | | |
