| Ed, I am sad to say I broke my new sommelier glass. I had it less than a month. I sure love them compared to the extremes. I will be needing another one, my wife will not let me use hers. Send me a price list please! I promise to be more careful next time! | | | |

| Is there still a maximum discount that Riedel allows distributors to give? I believe it was 40%. | | | |

| GATC That is correct. Go 40.01% and you lose the line. Amazon went right to the limit on their sale. As they have all teh 'unlimited capital' they will go frothe free shipping. As for Spiegelau, not sure what is is, but I'll run as low as I can. | | | |

Am placing my Xmas orders for Riedel and Spiegelau this week. Advise, and I'll get you all included in the order.

| Edward (or so you're calling yourself now! ), I have a question for you. Assuming you're familiar with the infamous amazon.com soap opera on the forum, I have now received from them my Authentis 'red' and 'white' glasses. Until now, I've never seen this offering. Both the Wine Enthusiast and the IWA catalogs have Authentis, but they have either 'varietal-specific' glasses, or the generic 'tasting glass'. I just browsed the Spiegelau website, and it has the 'red' and 'white' amongst others, but not the varietal ones that I see in the catalogs mentioned above. How does this work??? | | | |

| Bud Man Both the Wine Enthusiast and the IWA catalogs have Authentis, but they have either 'varietal-specific' glasses, or the generic 'tasting glass'. I just browsed the Spiegelau website, and it has the 'red' and 'white' amongst others, but not the varietal ones that I see in the catalogs mentioned above.
Red Glass, Vino Grande 8 3/4 high, 15 oz. Burg, Vino Grande 8 1/2 h, 25 oz. Bord, Vino Grande 8 3/4 h, 22 oz So the red is a bit more narrow, less nose, less capacity.
White Wine, Vino grande 8' h, 8 1/4 oz Chablis 7 3/4" 11 oz Chard 8 1/4", 12 oz. Again a bit less nose, and smaller capacity
Price for the basic glass same as the varietal, but a bit more generic. Hope this helps
Our cost $ 7.50/stem. These are good all around glasses for general drinking, guests etc.
Hope I did not confuse. WHole idea is like the Vinum, tasting glass. | | | |

| Edward, Thanks for the info, but I was more curious about the Authentis series rather than the Vino Grande. I am surprised that the Vino Grande red glass is so much smaller then the Burg or Bordeaux. | | | |

| Edward, thanks. I'd like to get some Riesling Grand Cru (400/15). Depending on the price, I'd like to get 6 or 12. Would also like to know the cost of the Sommeliers Sauternes (400-55). Thanks. | | | |
