Three 750ml 01' Gemstone in wood chest @ $270 limit 2
Six 750ml 01' Gemstone in wood chest @ $540 limit 2
One Mag 01' Gemstone @ $205 limit 1

I am thinking of buying Three pack and one mag. Should I buy more

I know that it is difficult to talk about QPR at these price points, but this is an excellent wine, better than many others at or above this price.

Hey, good news. They said that in general they don't let anyone on the list, but since I'm a friend of Bob they will let me on right away! Well, something like that anyhow.

A mailer is on its way. Add one to my count of producers.

I received the mailer for Facets One this past spring (and ordered)........does that mean I am on the list for the flagship offering as well????

eiger - just talk to my friend and he did order the 00' Gemstone but did not get the order form for 01' Facet... But got the order form for 01' Gemstone today.

Sadly, I passed on the 00's and the facets having been able to buy it locally for cheaper and saved on shipping. I haven't gotten my 01 mailer and don't know if I will get offered. I bought the 99's and loved them but passed on the 00's since they have it locally for under mailer. My retailer is upping the price for the 01's so it's cheaper to get from mailer but I dont' expect an offering. Oh well....good luck guys, it's good stuff.

Does anybody know the barrel estimates for the 01's? I'm down to order (got my mailer today) but how many will depend on these ratings....i'll have to give up another mailer purchase if I buy more than a 3 pack. But that mag looks enticing and perhaps another 3 pack.

Based on my tastings from barrel, Parker underrated the wine.

I thought I had already published my barrel score for the 01 Gemstone but I see that I have not. I gave it a 92-95 from barrel. The next issue will definitely have a barrel score for the 02 Gemstone. The issue is basically done but needs to be formated. It simply must be done no later than Friday.

I ordered three based on Bobs & Jones recommendations. I love this BB!
