| This was a very interesting experience. I opened it on Monday night, and I didn't like it at all. I tried it again on Tuesday night and still didn't care for it. I didn't get much fruit, and found it to be quite shut down really. So I popped it in the fridge and took off for a 3 days. I came back to my place after the christmas weekend and I finished it tonight. It changed a lot, and for the better... I'm kinda amazed at it lasting for as long as it has, and for it to be better than it was on day 2 of tasting.
Very little color. Very clear. Bright, shiny complexion.
Apricots, Peaches, Tangerines, apples, a little spice in the background
Granny Smith notes on the palate, tart tasting, off dry with just a little sweetness, a nice touch at the end. Like biting into a granny smith apple and then taking a nibble of an apricot. Mouthwatering in acidity, medium finish. Pretty good wine. | | |
