| Tasted 16/06/2003 for pre dinner. Tasted out of Zerrutti Super Tasters (like and ISO XL5 but bigger and crystal.)
%8 alcohol
Colour: Nice light gold Nose: Initially sweeter nose, with pineapple and pear notes. Malic acids also evident with that granny smith nose. After a few moments (about ten mintues) some slightly caramelised notes came through, slightly smoky, particularly on the palate. Palate: Lovely evervescence, great length and persistance of fruit flavours. The length was carried by the acidity , slightly sugary sweetness. Overall: A lovely wine, that surpassed my initial thoughts. The acids did carry the wine across the palate, leaving a great length, this in turn summerises the wine very well. It was all about sweetness and sugar contrast. 87 points. | | | |
