| | Straw in color. Nose of honeysuckles, pineapple, and burnt sugar. Very sweet on the palate with primarily spiced apples and stone. Long steely apple finish. 89pts | | | |

| | I bought some of these too and found it to be very enjoyable. In the past, I seldom bought Kabinetts, but I'm drinking more and more rieslings with food and 2005 Kabinetts are great for spicy foods now and will be good for other foods in 4-5 years. | | | |

| 2005 Dr. Pauly-Bergweiler Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Kabinett, (Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer, Mosel)
A little sweeter and orange-y than I had hoped, but the lime and minerality helped make up the difference. Small amounts of honey, apricot & apples. Would have loved to have seen more fruit. 88 points | | | |
