| - 2005 Schloss Lieser Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer, Mosel (1/20/2007)
Nose of stone fruit, honey, and green tea. On the palate, peach, stone fruit, and mineral. A bit sweet for a kabinett, but I find that many of the 05s are drinking like spatlesen. Could use a bit more acidity to balance it out. Still quite nice, nonetheless, and a joy to drink. 88-89 points. (88 pts.)

The acidity comment is not uncommon in 2005. I think most wine will be better after some prolonged sleep. | | | |
